Juliet is so freaking fast now... her hair can't quite keep up...

Just received a beautiful notice in the mail.  Here is a photo of me running a red light as captured by HPD red light cameras.  Judging by the amazing depth of field, this was probably taken at f/64 and a shutter speed of 1/100,000 to capture my blazing 30 mph.  I must have been in a rush to get to Houston Camera Exchange for some AWESOME deals.

So... I decided to post something that is a little more personal... we have not posted in a few weeks and well I decided it has been way too long since I put up any photos of my daughter. It is from a little point and shoot... but shows the character and cool factor that is known as TAS. She will seriously sit on the plane in her own seat and listen to quality tunes rolling her shoulders and just enjoying herself. this was taken by my wife with her "not so expensive i don't care if i break my camera camera" :)

We have decided to start highlighting some of the great professionals in the Houston and Miami areas that are dedicated to making your wedding the perfect day you have always dreamed for. First up!!! Laura Kay Photography Laura shot with me a little as a second when she first started shooting weddings. They are currently shooting weddings in Houston but soon will be moving to the DC area. So all you DC Photogs... LOOK OUT!!! My first ever engagement shoot was with them 9 years ago. Josh (her husband) and I have been friends for years. When we moved down to Texas we touched base again. Laura has been building her business and raising their two kids WHILE Josh has been serving in IRAQ the last three years. I do not understand how she does it or many other Mom's" who are full time photographers and raising their children, much less doing that while Josh was overseas. I have so much respect for you Laura and Josh... and all you other women and men (our very own Marco) out their pulling double duty with the amount of time it takes to be involved in your kids lives and working on a business. side note... Look at this... we were ahead of the game even back then in our style... no blah blah blah posed photos.....

Today the weather was way too nice to pass up the opportunity to photograph my two favorite people in the world.

Juliet is now a full 10 months!

All six of us (Marco, Audrey, Juliet, Joe, Janette and Tasanee) are in Hawaii this week for Lea and Patrick's wedding.  It is so beautiful here!!!  We stayed the first couple of nights at the Hilton Village in downtown Honolulu, and have moved to the west side of the island for the wedding close to Paradise Cove near the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa.  This is the perfect weather and climate for a wedding.  Here are a few photos from our trip to Hanauma Bay... Our kids met the Pacific Ocean!!! ahhhhh...
