A special congratulations to Courtney and Gary who were wed on September 26, 2008. After being stranded out at sea during her bachlorette cruise because of Hurricane Gustav, and having to wonder if Ashton Gardens would even have power to hold her ceremony due to Ike; Courtney handled the day with such amazing ease and grace. We were all set to have a candle lit ceremony at the Ashton chapel, and a plan B reception at the Waterway Marriot. Two days before the ceremony, we got word that the following days bride was DETERMINED to have her wedding as planned... so her family generously provided two large commercial generators to power the entire facility for the weekend!!! Lights, AC, Food, everything worked out perfectly in the end, and it was a lovely, lovely night...

Sapna and Tanay were married this Spring in a beautiful ceremony at the Beautiful Chateau Polonez. Shena Cherian from Design was on hand to make sure everything was perfect. AS you can see their wedding day was filled with beauty, joy and romance... I feel the photos will tell the story better than I can could ever type. This all started when I called Kristen out at Kellie and Nathan's wedding. =) Thank you for allowing me to part of your blessed day.  I was surrounded by smiles and laughter the entire day.  Your ceremony at St. Lukes was beautiful and one that I will always remember.  The butterflies and centerpieces made the Houstonian Grande Ballroom look magnificent... and oh so many memorable moments.  From the dances, Lil' Flip, special performances, to your dad doing push-ups on the dance floor, it was hard picking pictures for this slideshow.  I hope you guys enjoy it...

I don't normally do this, but I just had to highlight this... Kristen loves butterflies (as you can see from the decor of the ballroom) and one just happened to land on her as they were about to drive out ;)

Jenny and Ross were married at their home church here in Houston at The "Texas Sized" First Baptist Church. The decorations were as beautiful as the event itself. Despite the size of the church the wedding was an intimate affair of their closest family and friends. It was dark and it rained, but this did not stop us from making the most of what light we did have... I am a big fan of using modified available light... AKA the video light. :)
